Dinosaur Museum for Dad's Birthday

For my Dad's birthday, he was planning on going to the zoo with Jenny's family, but there ended up being a change of plans and my family all met at the Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum instead.  It was really fun for the kids to go with their cousins.

Emma took some great shots of the museum itself, pictures I never think to take:

On to the Dinosaur Dig Room!  This is always a bit hit, and it was nice not to rush through it this time since it's usually our last stop before leaving.

Elizabeth and Ashlyn are also pretty much inseparable.  They are a grade apart in school, but only 8 months apart in age.  They usually get together once or twice a week during the school year, and sometimes even more often during the summer.

After the museum, we decided to go have lunch at a park.  At first we tried this cool new park in Saratoga Springs with a giant climbing structure, but a storm hit right as we arrived.  So we headed east away from the clouds to a park in Alpine, where the weather was perfect and there was a splash pad.

I just love this picture of Benjamin's feet sticking out of his car seat.  I miss those days!
